Ms. Monira Akter is a shop assistant. She works in shifts in a departmental store in Khulna. She does not go to work at the same time every day. On some days she works in the first shift from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. On other days she works in the second shift from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Monira always uses the bus to go to work in the morning. The bus stops just in front of the shop. In the afternoon she generally goes there by rickshaw or baby-taxi. She does not like to wait at the bus stop in the mid-day heat. The bus is overcrowded at that time. She always comes back home by bus.
She works standing all the time and she serves the customers. She often gets tired by the time she finishes work. But she does not mind. She meets new people every day. She finds her job interesting.

তিনি সারাক্ষণ দাঁড়িয়ে কাজ করেন এবং ক্রেতাদের সেবা দেন। কাজ শেষ হতে হতে প্রায়ই তিনি ক্লান্ত হয়ে পড়েন। কিন্তু তিনি কিছু মনে করেন না। প্রতিদিন নতুন নতুন মানুষের সাথে দেখা হয়। তাঁর কাজটি তাঁর কাছে আনন্দের।
